I am hugely grateful to all of the officers and to the staff of the Margate Task Force (MATF) who have taken their time and their expertise to brief me. It has been a really useful opportunity to learn more of the work of our local police force and to understand better how they continually strive to keep our streets and our communities safe in the face of ‘County lines’ and many other challenges that they face on a daily basis.
