RSPCA annual prosecution launch

Attending the launch of the RSPCA annual prosecutions report in the House Sir Roger has said:
“ the East Kent figures are still far too high - 321 reported complaints in Canterbury and 385 complaints and six convictions in Thanet.
At the same time the Solicitor General has made an appeal against lenient sentences for puppy selling and one: the defendants ‘ sentenced were increased to a total of 21 years behind bars - albeit under rather better conditions than the animals that they were selling were reared” *
*Bonnie, the breeding bitch that we rescued with the help of the RSPCA and the Dogs Trust, continues to grow in confidence. She is at last, in Suzy’s safe hands, making real progress and is smiling!
